Joining a makerspace can be overwhelming. To get started, we recommend checking out the following resources.
UTDesign Makerspace is a place for all members of the UT Dallas community to collaborate on projects. We highly recommend starting off with our frequently asked questions and rules to get a better understanding of what our makerspace is all about.
Would you like to get more involved with UTDesign Makerspace? Consider joining a committee or becoming an officer! Committees power our makerspace by allowing us to give students experience working in teams for a large engineering facility and keeping our organization student-led.
If you don't know what project you want to work on or need to brainstorm ideas, check out the pages for topics in our sidebar on the left! All of our tools are free to use and we do our best to provide as many resources as possible for you to meet your goals. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out in our Discord server.
