This short guide will teach you how to reset the Z-Offset on our Ender 3 printers.
A bad Z-Offset can lead to poor bed adhesion on the first layer of the print when it is too high (printing on air) or too low (nozzle is mashing into the bed).
A Z-Offset typically becomes uncalibrated over time from normal printer movement and bed replacement or swapping.
You should do a Z-Offset calibration if:
These overall steps apply to the CR-10 V2 but are not 1:1.
If you are worried you may harm the printer following this guide, contact an officer for assistance.
